Why subscribe?

I am an interdisciplinary sound artist and composer based in Ohio. I work with sound archives and the communities connected to them. My focus is on sound and how listening can be a powerful tool for social change. Sound and listening have affected me deeply throughout my life, and I am guessing they do the same for you, too.

In this newsletter, I’ll share my experiences with sound in archival recordings and music, and more broadly, too. I’ll explore places and people with sound in mind, and its magic ability to deeply touch us. I hope you’ll join me as I follow the glimmers and clues sound and listening offer.
