2018 A Blade of Grass Fellowship in Contemplative Practice

I'm honored and thrilled to be among this year's A Blade of Grass Fellows for Socially Engaged Art. It’s particularly exciting to have been selected as the Fellow for Contemplative Practice.

I'll be working in Appalachian Ohio with local community members to critically listen to the Wayne National Forest. Read the announcement in ArtNews and ArtForum!

Shawnee Performances

We recently performed Shawnee, Ohio for the Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra's Liquid Music Series at Macalester College, and at Kenyon College in Ohio. Plus, I performed a solo show at Marshall University in West Virginia. See more images here.

Shawnee Revisited 

A new sound and 3-channel video installation premiered at Carleton College this past spring. A counterpart to Shawnee, Ohio, it remixes archival and contemporary films into a meditation on extraction and social life in Appalachian Ohio.
